Science Week Rang 3 enjoyed a visit and a demonstration from two scientists who work in Merck Sharp and Dohme.

Wet day games There was great excitement when we took delivery of a range of board games which the children will be able to play on wet days when they can't go outside. Míle buiochas to our Parents Association for sponsoring the games.

Cash for Clobber Many thanks to everyone in the school community who donated clothes and other household linen. The initiative allows the school to earn some money from items which  might otherwise be thrown out. 

Confirmation Enrolment Ceremony. Rang 6 commenced their preparation for Confirmation with an enrolment ceremony in the church on Oct 26th.

Oiche Shamhna Once again this year, the last day before mid term saw the school being invaded by ghosts, goblins, withces, skeletons, aliens, and other fantastical creatures. Well done to all of the children who designed and created their own costumes from recycled materials. 

Slán agus go raibh míle míle maith agat Ms O Donnell Pupils and staff were sad to say goodbye to Ms O Donnell on Oct 20th. Having spent 14 years in Scoil Bhailenora, she is now returning to her native County Limerick. Pupils, staff  and parents will miss her wonderful talents and everyone will remember her for her kindness and never ending patience. We wish her every blessing back home in Ballygran.  

West Muskerry Cross County running A very enjoyable and successful day was enjoyed by the pupils who represented the school at this event. Buiochas to Ms Fenton, Ms Mc Carthy and Ms Mc Donagh
